Married with two children (my son is American).

Brought up in a one parent family (mother) with my elder sister. My Grandfather, who guided me through my teens, had a huge influence on me.

I love travelling; was lucky to see America at its best when I travelled and hitched over 40 states in the early 80's. Everyone seemed very happy that we had just beaten the Argies over The Falklands. Stayed with over 50 families over 6 months and will never forget the hospitality.

Other loves are Red Wine, TEACHING (at the moment Grade 5 English, though my favourite subject is HISTORY, football (soccer to you heathens :-), watching my 6 year old daughter growing up, smoking, reading, movies, music, and of course FreeRepublic.
