...Anyway, I personally would rather have my driver be a man...

Testosterone is what makes a man! In racing, there is no room for second place, or didn't you know that? A winner is willing to take risks, including taking himself out. Any time they tangle, it can happen to either party. It is the skill that makes the difference. I guess skillful people are all jerks to you, but nice guys finish last!

As for arrogance, it isn't bragging when you prove yourself!

Explain to me what Dale Jr has proven? He is popular, not because he is a winner, but because he is a Junior! I have nothing against him, just nothing for him. When he has the backing of the best in racing, and cannot get to the finish line first, he is just another guy in a car on Sunday afternoon... and somebody else ought to be in the car!

"but nice guys finish last!"

Well then, I would rather finish last than be a testosterone idiot!

BTW your man Hamlin should have gone to pitroad for his tire instead of sitting there intentionally to bring out the caution and we wouldn't be arguing over this.

You're welcome to your opinion and so am I. Have a good day.

Busch quipped, “Everyone is driving around the racetrack scared to death of wrecking Dale Earnhardt Jr., so why would I be any different?”

And with those few words, Busch proved he didn’t care who was behind the wheel or he would have tempered his entry into the corner more judiciously. He made it clear that he would not be intimidated by the Intimidator’s son or anyone else on the racetrack.

“It would not make me a race car driver that’s for sure,” said Busch, who finished second and took the points lead from Jeff Burton. “If I went out there on that final restart and just gave way to the 88 car, then that would not be a true race car driver.

“I had to do what I had to do to win for my team. That’s what I was out there and set forth to do was try to get a win. Unfortunately, circumstances happened.”

Earnhardt’s point of view did not differ greatly from Busch’s. He concluded the incident was simply unfortunate.

Tell that to Danica Patrick..

Thanks for stopping by the thread, btw.

I see you’re not on the Ping list but we can add ya on if ya like.

Don’t mind WCG, she’s a good egg. She likes Junior and so do a lot of others here.

She’s been here a long time, almost as long as me and a few others, and has had others who took their jabs at her and have since left the scene..

We try to keep the thread off the personal assaults and jabs path, hope you don’t mind me saying that.

btw, Welcome to FR,, looks like you been here awhile.

I missed the tail end of the race, not so sure its wise putting your team members at jeopardy as it sounds Shrub did.. jmo.

Personally, if Shrub don’t watch it, he may go the way of Rubby Gordon.. since his big bro Kurt has reined it in some the last year or so, he hasn’t won much if at all, but he isn’t wrecking as many folks as he used to either.

I guess winning at any cost isn’t as important to him as it used to be. I’m sure we can disagree about that civilly.

See ya around.
