Gee, I'd just like to get a real nice guitar on a "splurge". One of those items that isn't for anything other than some luxury that you can enjoy on your own.Like one of these beauties?
G&L Leo Fender Commemorative Edition ... beautiful sunburst with figured wood grain, all gold hardware, even (supposedly) the strings are gold plated(!) ... Leo Fender's signature on the upper bout with a flower and the dates of his birth and death: 1909-1991.
It can't be played ... EVER!!! Anyone buying and/or 'playing' this piece would be cast out into the abyss of shame by (museum piece) guitar collectors! This guitar is truly a showpiece collectible and was marketed as such ......

Leo Fender himself would have been appalled by such a thing, as he always believed that his products were meant to be used, and not sit in some airtight museum casing untouched

Sorry I forgot to post that the guitar is a Maton EBG808CLG. If you're feeling generous I'd like the cherry finish, with the upgrade APMic pickup, my initials on the 12th fret and the hard carry case.
That would be about it for me.
Let's see 3 or 4 baseball games, crappy food, warm beer, bathrooms that are open urinals, drunk man/boys, crowded parking lots with hours of fun going and coming to the game, ........ or a guitar that will last until I go toes up and room temp.
Sorry fellas, I love the Cowboys but choose to watch from the house with great seats, nice chairs and all the comforts.
About the only live things I'd go to now are Texas Aggie football games, some tennis tournaments or UFC fight. It's a bargain for the price of the ticket.
Of course that 's my opinion and I could be wrong.
