Nice picture. Thanks.
I've got two of those Mac Cubes still running at one of the offices I administer. Both are acting as servers and have been running that way 24/7 since they were both retired as workstations in 2003. Both of them are running legacy databases not mission critical anymore but still necessary from time to time) that are accessed several times a day. No fans, no noise. Quietly doing their jobs. Never a glitch, never a bobble. One is running MacOS9.2.2, the other is running OSX.3.9 Panther.
The Mac Cube had one of the neatest designs. To open the computer, you pushed in on a handle underneath which then popped up with a slow swoosh sound, you then, using the handle, literally "pulled the core" out of the case. Somewhat like HAL9000 in 2001 a Space Odyssey.

old version Update it. There are some security holes in the older versions of Quicktime for Windows and you really should close them by installing the latest version.

Two new Bud Light ads came out this week too. This is really important...who cares? I care. It's good for the U.S. economy.

This is really important...who cares? Who cares? The 305 members of the Mac Ping List, as well as quite a few who are not list members, enjoy seeing them. If you don't care. Don't complain.

I saw the group therapy ad last night. I think it was on “House” on Fox. Pretty funny.

I care. I dumped ‘Windows’, and only regret is that I wish I’d made that move earlier.
