Yes, this is a vanity...but an important one. Calling all Freepers to support Buddy Witherspoon for US Senate. He's going up against Lindsey Grahamnesty on June 10th. We've got an opportunity to throw this guy out of office for good. Remember Graham spoke before La Raza and stated:
"We're going to tell the bigots to shut up!"
watch the video here:
Witherspoon needs donations. I don't even live in South Carolina but have donated to his campaign. Let's give Grahamnesty the boot.

Boy, I remember when I first became acquainted with Graham, during the Clinton impeachment proceedings. Back then he was a feisty new conservative firebrand on the scene but with a gentle, appealing demeanor. I thought he was destined to great things. What a difference a decade can make. Just another confirmation of my belief that politics corrupts everything and everyone it touches.

Grahamnesty has been good on some issues (pro-life, iraq war, etc.) But he is SO wrong on the illegal alien invasion and the issue of national sovereignty that he must go. I hope we can get a conservative like Witherspoon in there and not have to worry about rats.

from wiki: Comprehensive Immig. Bill
“Further the Washington Times reported that Lindsey Graham and John McCain “first checked with Mr. Kennedy before deciding to vote with the Massachusetts Democrat on an amendment to the Senate bill.”[8]
Graham addressed this saying “We are going to solve this problem. We're not going to run people down. We're not going to scapegoat people. We're going to tell the bigots to shut up, and we're going to get this right.”[9] He has also compared critics of the bill to anti-Catholic and anti-Jewish bigots.[10]
Grassroots efforts to oppose Senator Graham's reelection have arisen due to his positions on judicial nominations and immigration. Recent polls in South Carolina indicate that Graham's outspoken support of what critics deem “amnesty” for illegal immigrants have driven away many Republican supporters.[11] He is now being challenged by longtime Republican national committeeman Dr. Buddy Witherspoon.[12]”

McNutCase? If you follow anything I post here on FR, then you will probably know that I state emphatically — I WILL NEVER VOTE FOR JOHN MCCAIN!!!!! I use to get flamed, and take much heat over that comment, but recently it has been mostly agreeable. If he wins, it will be without my vote. He is a HUGE part of the problems facing America, and he will not get my vote.

But with a gentle, appealing demeanor”
Yeah, met him at an icebreaker here in Columbia, SC. in 2002. Gazed up at me with those baby blues (gross!!) as he declared himself the anointed successor to Strom Thurmond. In 2005, I called his office to protest his “Gang of Fourteen” move. His staff went Gestapo on me. I can’t wait to vote for Buddy Witherspoon. To H#ll with Little Lord Flimsey!

I have not followed what you have been posting. I am sure your posts are congruent with my feelings about McShame. He is an old worn out Pit Bull with a big ego filled with a self induced pride that wont let him stand down from his position! He may win in Nov. But without me!

Your vote is not needed. McCain will help the GOP bring in fresh voters who won't constantly throw a conniption fit every time they don't get their way.
