A fixed pet is a good idea. I am not “outsourcing” my masculinity to my dog. He is a goofy chocolate lab anyway. And my “butch” dog is a Bull Mastiff bitch, and I don't want her dripping blood everywhere and driving all the local dogs crazy.
Plenty of puppies out there. Spay or neuter your pets.
