I wonder if the guy who wrote this, if serious, is really in Dodge City, or has even ever been to Dodge City?? It’s not the place I’d pick to complain about beef.
I also wonder if someone who complains about how much land it takes to raise cattle has ever spent any time in areas where lots of cattle are raised. Some, though of course not all, ranch land really isn’t suitable for much of anything else.
I think I’ll have a steak for supper tonight.
Dean Koch does live in Dodge if I remember correctly, and that is one of those things that got me on that. Beef is Dodge City’s first and prime business above all, take beef away you not only kill Dodge City but also most of Southwestern Kansas the Oklahoma Panhandle and the Texas Panhandle. Anyways its kind of weird reading a Kansan with the last name Koch sound like a raving loony leftist as most of them I have known are pretty conservative people, maybe he was kicked out of the family.
