Looks like McCain is headed for a southern sweep, as predicted I might add. Coming soon my first official Electoral College recap. I remind you that in 04 I only missed New Hampshire. Ignore all other Electoral College recaps but mine.
Presuming you’re correct, would a southern sweep necessarily give McCain a victory?
H
No, but not getting one would mean almost certain defeat.
Southern Sweep? hell, it’s going to be a 45 state sweep!
Excerpted from the report:
“McCain leads by seventeen points among men but trails by two among women. Obama has a huge lead among voters under 30 while McCain leads among those 30 and older. McCain is supported by 85% of Republicans while Obama earns the vote from 71% of Democrats. Unaffiliated voters are fairly evenly divided. “
These are not bad national numbers for Mc.
Now, if he would only run a real campaign, he would have a real shot at winning this!
Florida is huge and the dems will be throwing everthing and the kitchen sink to win it. Including Obama taking Richardson as his V.P. pick to try to buy the latino vote. That is after Hillary is done collecting her extortion $$$ in exchange for promising to support his campaign and she quietly slimes her way back to capitol hill.
Why does Real POlitics have it just the other way with Obama way ahead in electoral college and popular vote I’m confused.
With the Dems present strategy of attacking McCain on his military service, he certainly has a better chance of winning in quite a few states.
Number one story on Countdown with Keith...what’s his name.
How about VA? Seriously, if he does not win every southern state plus MO, he is toast.
Meanwhile, Rasmussen moves Colorado from “Toss Up” to “Leans Democratic” and Virginia from “Leans Republican” to “Toss Up.”
Real Politics depends on MSM polls including the recently debunked Newsweek and LA Times polls that have Osama up by double digits which even the most looney know is crap.
Don’t go by RP but by common sense.
Minnesota had poll results 2 weeks ago had Hussein and McCain statistically tied.
Interesting.
Okay, an early taste. McCain wins Colorado by five.
I agree. I think McCain carries Florida by a wider margin than Bush did in 04.
McCain can’t win without a Southern sweep. It is essential.
I went back and looked the RCP Electoral They don’t give McCain Florida or NC or OHio, NV or Indiana. If you put those states in his column where he is leading by less than 2 % he has over 225 electoral college votes.
These polls are all over one week old, or most are.
Are you going to leave us hanging? Is there a Ping list? I remember your ‘04 cll very well. The suspense is killing me.
