She was interested in whether the folks in my county, which is mostly registered dem would vote for Obama.
When I told her that I felt that due to my informal research less than 50 percent of registered demos would go for him, she seemed shocked.
Why would this not happen, she asked. It must be due to racism and fears that he is a moslem, she noted.
I said no, not really. I said it was due to that he was anti coal (we have a lot of coal miners) as well as anti gun and the fact that his wife apparently only recently discovered she appreciated America and that Obama surrounded himself with a slew of exceedingly leftist, shady characters such as jerimiah wright and the lefists from Chicago.
This did not compute in her french mind and kept trying to awkwardly steer me back to racism as a reason.
After about ten tries she threw in the towel and told me how poor my county looked. When I informed her that the median income of this county was 68 thousand dollars a year she was flabbergasted and could not fit it into her brain.
I was not impressed by her interviews, which were on par with a fifth grade school newspaper reporter.
Oh...and she reminded me time again that the french seemed to love Obama..and why didn't we? I suggested that maybe he ought to move there and run for president of France.
Somehow she didn't comprehend my humor.

The first question that sprung into my mind was whether she was cute. And this editor/reporter did not let me down. Straight to the point, a credit to the profession.
Good job. Keep bringing up Obama’s failures. Conservatives are the last people that care about race - we’re about the issues that keep America great (strong military, constitution, low taxes)
did you mean a majority of dems wouldnt vote for him....or that with the low voter turnout, his vote would be less than 50% of registered voters

Actually, I informed her that a large number of demos would not vote for him, but could not bring themselves to vote for any republican, so they would not vote in the presidential election at all.
Also, there were a measurable number that already have McCain stickers on their vehicles, such as my life long democrat mother.
It’s not that I don’t like the guy. I might find him a nice guy. It’s that I can’t stand his liberal politics and like you said, the hate America crowd. including his wife and his pastor, he surrounded himself with.
She smelled good actually, but smoked a lot of Marlboros, which kind of masked the soap smell.

The interviewer in all likelihood didn’t. It’s odd: France has some extremely good looking women, but their aversion to bathing is a mystery to me. It kind of “ruins the picture,” if you get my drift.
She sort of looked like Bourne’s girlfriend in the Bourne identity..only not as emaciated. She was cute...maybe 24 or 25.
And yes, she appeared to have bathed.
