Thanks for that one. Wasn't familiar with that Crimson track. Here's some recent Marillion.

Great songs.

Christine McVie is an underrated singer/songwriter, imo. This vid is heavy on the Stevie pics, but it's a Christine song...

Nicky Moroch played guitar for Lenny White in the Astral Pirates days. Hew was a neighborhood friend and a drinking buddy when we were kids. He's playing with David Sanborn now.

I always liked the Marillion songs I heard on the radio. I’m surprised they’re still around. What happened to the original lead singer?

Thank you!

Found it — kinda like it.

Chorus:

Cause I just can’t look its killing me
And taking control
Jealousy, turning saints into the sea
Swimming through sick lullabies
Choking on your alibis
But it’s just the price I pay
Destiny is calling me
Open up my eager eyes
‘Cause I’m Mr Brightside

Wonderful! As one comment said,”...I love Stevie’s light vocals weaving in and out of Christine’s voice on this! “

1962, The Rolling Stones made their live debut at the Marquee Jazz Club, London, with Dick Taylor on bass and Mick Avory on drums. The band was billed as Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones. They were paid £20 for the gig.

That must be Mick Avory, drummer with The Kinks. I didn't know he once played with the Rolling Stones.

I agree. I had no idea she was born in ‘43 though.

Ya, I had a lot of trouble wading through all those pics of a 30 year old Stevie Nicks in tight jeans and halter tops.

But I endured because the song was worth it!

:0)
