B.B. King signs on to host weekly music show
Iconic Bluesman to Take On DJ Duties in September!
Blues music icon B.B. King will begin hosting his own weekly music show for XM Radio beginning in September 2008. The program will feature a broad range of blues and gospel music hand-selected by King, along with stories about the artists and other personal anecdotes from the bluesman's epic career.
In anticipation of King's hosting debut, today XM relaunched its dedicated blues channel "Bluesville" as "BB King's Bluesville (XM 74).

Yeah that merger may go through (maybe 3-2 vote?) any time now. I have XM but have heard Sirius (car rental had it).
My first exposure to XM was just over a yr ago, when it
was on my Jet Blue flight
yeah I love blues (have been a longtime college radio blues
DJ) and other types of music; I like some of XM’s channels like Willie’s Place (13, classic country), Bluesville etc

can you pikc up Rush, Hannity, and Savage on those things? I have a 2 hour commute each week and can’t pick up anything in the hills except static.
If i could pick up conservative talk and get good reception i would buy one tomorrow.
There are a few conservative channels. Patriot 144 which carries Bill Bennett from 6-9am EST, Mike Church 9-Noon, Andrew Wilkow Noon-3pm, Sean Hannity 3-6pm, and the great one Mark Levin 6-8pm. Michael Reagan after that, then NRA show.
Fox News Talk, Channel 145 Carries Brian and the Judge 9-Noon, Bill O’Reilly Noon-2pm,Spencer Hughes 2-3pm, Tom Sullivan (a frequent Rush fill in) 3-6pm, John Gibson 6-9pm.
