Call me a “whiner” if you want to, I’m far from being a “purist” though. I do think that McCain is the worst possible candidate that we could have chosen for this most crucial of elections. The party is floating aimlessly right now. No vision. No leadership.

I agree with you about McCain. Everytime I think I can hold my nose and vote for him because the alternative is so much worse, he does something stupid like kissing the ring of La Raza or putting on another gorebal warming commercial.

However, the topic of this thread is Mitch McConnell, not John McCain. While McConnell may be far from perfect, he's done a far better job than most of his predecessors. Especially "Vacant" Lott.
