No real reason to post this other than the fact that I find the title quite soothing. ;-)

What, other than Senator Barack Hussein Obama being the presumptive democratic nominee, would've caused this decline in party recognition, do you think?

This is from the story: “Forty-four percent (44%) of women are Democrats, and just 30% claim the GOP as their party.”

Would a woman please explain to me why women would favor the Dims over the Republicans?

Women are concerned with the safety of their families, budgets and fiscal responsibility, good educational systems, faith, family values. These are all hallmarks of the Republican party, yet a lot more women say they are Democrats than Republicans. It just doesn’t make sense.

Among men, 34% are Democrats, 33% Republican. Forty-four percent (44%) of women are Democrats, and just 30% claim the GOP as their party.

Those statistics are meaningless given the WIDE disparity when it comes to race. By mixing the black and white voters together, it creates an impression that simply isn't there.

Now this just can’t possibly be— no, no, no— Obama is the Chosen One, and he will fill the hole in your soul. This must be a deception by the ‘White Man’s greed’. Lord Obama is so charismatic that you will feel an epiphany; light will shine upon you and you will feel a tingle up your pants. So this poll must be wrong.

When the media and so called historians were going on and on about President Bush being the worst President and how his job approval was in the tank, many people wanted to avoid having pollsters think poorly of them so they denied being Republican. When Republicans are visible and fight back people will more readily identify with the Party. Also when Republicans look viable fewer people feel the need to identify with the apparent popular party, the Democrats.

During July, the number of Americans who consider themselves to be Democrats fell two percentage points to 39.2%. That’s the first time since January that the number of Democrats has fallen below 41%.

I believe the percentage of HOMELESS PEOPLE living on WELFARE is still 100% Democrats.

Or maybe 75% Dems 25%Socialists.

percentage of my friends who are DEMOCRATS -- 0%. 25% are independent, 75% republican.

I think it’s a crock. I would define myself as a Republican, but am registered Democrap to vote against our 20+ year mayor in the primary and for my own Operation Chaos in Ohio before Rush started that.

How many people switched for OPeration Chaos? The numbers have to be skewed right now.
