Right enough. I was referring, though, to the (evidently) willful misuse of the adjective 'anaerobic', which word -- in any other context -- means 'pertaining to, caused by, or characterised by a lack of oxygen'.

Rather difficult to lift weights (or do any other exercise, ftm) w/o oxygen, true?

Rather like the usage of the adjective 'massive' as a synonym for 'enormous' -- the usage is simply wrong, no matter how common it may have become, esp. among ''journalists''.
