The intro to Thunderstruck isn’t too hard.

That's what my son says too. It sure looks impressive though.

- Today, I enjoy most of their music, but at that time I was very much “in need of speed”, I guess.

Hehe. I understand - I was very opinionated about music back then.

Mozart and metal - your musical tastes are definitely well-rounded. :-)

The Call of Ktulu (fabulous guitar work), Creeping Death ( i know this was released in europe on an earlier EP)...that whole album is great. The best guitar work out of any of their albums in my opinion. Master of Puppets wasn’t bad either. It went downhill after that.

That's pretty much how I see it. They started to sound way too overproduced around And Justice for All and the following albums.

“Mozart and metal - your musical tastes are definitely well-rounded. :-)”

- Guess you could say so.

When I was 14, I listened to only ONE kind of music (British/British influenced hardcore punk). Today, 25 years later, I appreciate about one million kinds of music:D

Master of Puppets is one of those CDs which have earned a perminant place in my 6 disc changer. The other is Burnt Offerings. They both only have 8 songs on them though.
