With The Timing of a True Veteran

Actually, McCain and his crew are timing this perfectly, while Obama and his camp are showing their rampant inexperience.

If McCain had been ripping Obama all along, by now his attacks would have become passé; "just more of the same from McCain." But waiting until now to step up the attack has a threefold benefit ~ very, verrrry smart on JM's part:

1) It's fresh, connecting, and attention-grabbing.
2) Timing has allowed McCain to assemble an aresnal of Obama missteps, so he can keep ramping it up right through the convention.
3) By doing it from now forward (instead of wasting it earlier), it helps to negate much of what would have been Obama's VP/Convention "bounce."

The Obama camp, at the same time, is lagging in topicality due to "Obama Fatigue" even among their most ardent acolytes. The candle just burned too brightly for too long to keep it up until November.

He'll now suffer the dual indignity of losing his blush with the hyperventilating rump-swabs even as McCain publicly rubs his nose in his worst errors to date.

This pressure, combined with Obama's arrogant sense of "entitlement," is a recipe for political meltdown... that is to say that it's quite likely Obama's biggest gaffes are yet to come, while McCain hits his stride with the impeccable timing of a long-distance runner.

I'm starting to really like how this looks.

Add in a leering dose of snide, contemptuous, sarcastic Joey Biden to turn off moderate Dems and independents, and we're on the downslope to the finish line, kids.

Amazing.

Everybody has been wondering when McCain would come out swinging, and why he has waited so long. Watch, and be amazed as the old Grayback teaches the pup how to throw a real haymaker...

(P.S.) The times alone demand that we not use racial quotas to choose our president just because he's black. Because beyond that, Obama has no qualifications for this office.

Of course, candidate McCain remains the center of his campaign. However, since McCain handed Steve Schmidt control of daily operations, the campaign has gotten more focused and the race against Obama has gotten tighter.

I, like you, am disgusted that this is our offering for the "conservative" side of this epic. At least as disappointed as I was when the best we could do was Bob Dole.

However, no stench from McCain can even be detected in the room when the room is shared by Obama. Talk about odious! While McCain may be the least conservative GOP candidate in quite a while, Obama is definitely the furthest-left loonie the Dem's had in their deck of cards.

McCain will likely not further the biggest conservative causes, but Obama (with a Dem Congress) will destroy America for decades to come, if not for good.

We’re in basic agreement then.

I may not be supporting McCain with cash donations. But he is head and shoulders above Obama on most issues. Especially on the issues that concern me most. In the end, McCain will probably get my vote. Unless he pulls a royal boner and picks a liberal as his running mate.

Bottom line. There are no good options for conservatives this time around.
