The father of three, who was married four times, told CNN, "I'm trying to move on and be the best dad I can to my children. Be the best trooper that I can be. You know, I love my job. I love this state."
He added that McCain's choice of Palin as his running mate was "absolutely wonderful for the state of Alaska."

Period, end of sentence.
Next “scandal”, please.
Talk about a barometer to the chances of a McCain/Palin win - that dude is scared.
Of course you are idiot, because you know if you screw up again, you'll be terminated.

Some people need to be slapped up the side of hte head before they straighten out. Let’s give the guy the benefit of the doubt.
Another potential take on this is he has three ex-wives, three kids, is trying to keep a job and she is still the Governor of the state and has already gotten him fired from one job.
She has hired an attorney, there is an investigation underway, by proper authorities according to due process. She should keep her cool and make sure she tells the truth under oath, that is what they are trying to do, trip her up.
As for the allegation, as the decent husband of a deranged ex-wife, if there is any truth to the scandal, they she string her up by her thumbs. If she used her office to settle a family score, she is scum, no matter how scummy the ex-brother in law is. I paid through the nose and had to crawl over glass and my ex was just a run of the mill nut. If she had a sister-governor who would be willing to use her office to come after me I fear what may have happened.
By the way, after lots of cash and a strong lawyer, I ended up getting what I wanted but it was a long, hard road full of lies and allegations.
"I made mistakes. I fessed up to them. I was punished appropriately, and I'm moving on,"
To me, his earlier behavior sounded like that of somebody with a substance abuse problem. Maybe he got that taken care of and is running right now. As you say, let’s give him the benefit of the doubt.
Note to self to send Obama a box of Depends.
You're swimming with the fishes salmon.
Awwww sorry about that Obama-media, but please try again later, thanks for playing.
That is the rebuttal ad money line.
bump
Well, that’s going to pop some balloons in MSM land.
That possibility immediately came to my mind as soon as I read his quote.
Senator Obama has a plan to end our dependence on foreign oil and reduce skyrocketing energy prices, said Senator Hollis French of Anchorage, a former oil rig worker. Having worked in the oil business in Alaska for twelve years, I know firsthand the importance of oil and natural gas to Alaska. Senator Obama will not only invest in renewable fuels and increase car fuel efficiency standards, he strongly supports construction of an Alaska natural gas pipeline and accelerated drilling in the Alaska National Petroleum Reserve which will provide affordable energy to Alaska and our country and good jobs for Alaskans.
(this Senator French is “investigating” Gov Paylin)
