Miley isn't
too bad a role model. I was passing by the TV one day as my 12-YO daughter was watching some award show, and Miley got one (of course!), and she said she thanked "My Lord and savior, Jesus Christ", among others (her dad, etc.).
As a parent, I can't be too upset at that.

I figure they’re keeping it fuzzy to get people to tune in. She’s supposed to “open” the show is all I’ve heard.
Will Drudge be there? I wish. His presence would class up this event x 1,000,000. Everybody would slam him though.

Just found this on a gossip blog:
Britney will not make a performance, but other artists will make a tribute for her. Miley Cyrus will open the show singing "Baby One More Time." The Jonas Brothers will interpret "Oops I Did it Again" and Katy Perry "Toxic." Others confirmed like Pink and Lil Wayne are also expected to appear, and Madonna will appear on a giant screen saying the famous phrase "It's Britney, Bitch." After that Britney Spears will appear on stage and receive a trophy and applause from the public.So there you have it. Get the earplugs ready.

A tribute to her past is nice.
The gossip guy perez hilton this morning said NO Britney, despite a leaked video of her practicing with dancers to a new song.
She could stand there like a block of wood, bow, take a trophy like Michael Jackson, or at some point she might surprise us and perform.
Maybe she will just strip and shave her head on stage!
