The entire electronis world is one huge racket...people get addicted to "change", just like Obama hopes Amen to that. Got 1990' technology in the entertainment center at the moment (SDTV / DVD). I will admit that it's about time to buy some more though. I mean hell ... 10 years? That's longer lasting than most cars.

This is about the limit of my techno-ability....I do have a beautiful HDTV but we're not movie watchers, so the DVD is just "there" because we figured we gotta have sumpin!
