I one time in the not to distance past I wrote a note that I put on a computer “don’t use till tomorrow”. I had just finished a re-image and was downloading some software. It would download the last part after hours when band width wasn’t a concern. I wonder if they ever used that computer?
Nope. Just turned it off and sent it to a landfill.
