Well, I don't know how old you are, but I guarantee you most men have not thrown in the towel figuratively speaking at that age and many years after that. Sounds like the doctor's toast. I doubt any jury of the man's peers is going to side with the doctor on this one.
Cancer notwithstanding, he should have told the guy about it, given him the options, let him get a second opinion, and let HIM decide what course of treatment to go for. It is the height of arrogance to make that kind of decision for someone.
I wonder how the doctor would like it if he found himself in the same situation.
I work as a nurse aide at a nursing home. The old dudes that live there are always checking out the young chippies. Sometimes I’ll be helping them wash up for bed and they’ll make a little remark along the lines of ‘got a little life left in me’ EWWWWWWW. The testosterone poisoning is forever.
