Do you smoke after sex?

I don't know, I never looked.

Looks like his last post was in May.
I don’t think he’s coming back this time.

I guess the main question is how quickly can the cancer spread? Some types aren't even treated at a certain level and age because the patient will likely die of something else before the cancer matters. Other types either every day matters or the risk of a second surgery tomorrow are too great. How many women have gone in for surgery to check on some "female problems" and ended up with a radical hysterectomy?

‘Sometimes “I’m sorry” just isn’t enough.’

No kidding. You go into the OR thinking, “Well finally the problems I’ve been having will be fixed with this circumcision...”

No amount of money would fix that. More satisfaction in returning the favor to the good doctor.

I find it difficult to believe they didn’t have him sign some sort of release initially, and/or they didn’t ask his wife before they chopped it off. Of course, I understand the guy wanting to sue, that’s a pretty bad thing to have happen (I’m female, but I still get what a big deal this would be). But, generally you sign all sorts of releases before surgery. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Out of curiosity, is there some sort implant or transplant or whatever in cases where it has to be removed? I know they do gender reassignment surgery, although I admit (thankfully) I don’t know what they do. Can this man be helped?

As a urologist, I have to say that the plaintiff does have a point(pun intended).

No, he does not.

He used to have a point but he no longer does. (pun also intended)

Penile cancer is a deadly disease, and penectomy is the only effective treatment, but carries some serious psychological freight, and the doctor should have waited to counsel him properly.

True on both counts. As other posters have written, Willie deserved a going away party and that option has now been taken away.

The testosterone poisoning is forever.

LOL at how you put that. Bless you for your servant attitude and for taking the harrassment with a good attitude.

Seems like there’s a lot missing from this story (honest, no pun intended).

That’s really pretty sad. God made men as He made them. They can be annoying sometimes, but I wouldn’t change them for anything. (OK, I would design them to automatically put down the toilet seat, but that’s for another thread).

Well, I don't know how old you are, but I guarantee you most men have not thrown in the towel figuratively speaking at that age and many years after that. Mike Wallace declared a few years ago at the age of 86 sex was still very important. That's why there's Viagra and the other ahem emerging erectile dysfunction products

Thanks for the note. I am not yet quite 61, and while relationships with my wife are important (this statement would gross out my kids), my life's happiness does not depend on that. My joy comes from other sources. While I feel for the guy and he should have legal recourse, the wording in the lawsuit stating the man's happiness depends on Mr. Happy caught me as frivolous.

Perhaps I worded my original post in a "flip" manner, but then again I probably got up on the "masochist" side of the bed. It does keep my mind off of the financial mess that is threatening my 401K. No, that is not source of my joy either!

Oh, This was the most unkindest cut of all;
For when the naked patient saw him stab,
Incomprehension, more strong than doctor’s arms,
Quite vanquish’d him: then burst his mighty
heart. . . .
