Dems deserve all the blame!!! Vanity I guess

Posted on 09/30/2008 5:42:05 AM PDT by refermech

There are two reasons for our economic problems. The first is the refusal of Democrats to allow us to develop our own resources. The second is the Democratic slush fund call Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Why can't we make this case?? If we didn't have these problems we would be in great shape! How do we get around the biased press coverage and get this message out? McCain is dropping the ball!!!

"McCain is dropping the ball"

McCain is in a box. "Reaching Across the Aisle" is a major theme of his campaign. That means he doesn't want to attack Democrats. He can attack Obama but he can't attack Democrats in general because he is hoping to attract enough of those Dems in the Undecided/Independent group to get himself elected.

Same deal with talking up the roots of the financial crisis. We all know that those roots lead you right back to Bill Clinton and his push for "Affordable Housing". You may recall that Bill Clinton is married (sort of) to Hillary Clinton whose supporters are also targets for a McCain vote. McCain is therefore unlikely to go after anyone named Clinton even if we here at FR are begging him to do so. Not going to happen IMHO.

Some thoughts:
  1. Darkness is the absence of light. We need to use the Internet and talk radio to shine the light on things that have been done in the dark or secret. It is clear that the Dems and their mouth piece the MSM have put themselves first.
  2. When someone argues that this is not the time to affix blame we have to insist that indeed it is time. We need to prevent further mischief by those who have perpetrated the crime.
  3. We need to encourage those who are willing to stand and do the right thing as we have seen with Rep. members of the house.
  4. We need to know the truth so when someone proves to be ignorant or misguided we can gently correct them.
  5. We need to remember that often history resolves around the actions of one powerless soul who at a brief moment in time is entrusted with the right thing to do.
  6. We should never minimize nor neglect our role as free people.

If I expect a fellow American to defend my country, who may give their all, then is less expected of me? I would rather see our country blessed and free than enslaved by socialism. It is crystal clear that the Dems are taking us down that path.
