I noticed that Palin’s mic was turned on and up when she came out, and after the debate ended.
When she asked Biden if she could call him ‘Joe’ and when she called her family up to the stage.
Joe's was not.
Was there some plan to attempt to catch her saying something on an open mic?

I noticed her mike was up too, and I thought it was pretty cool what they did catch her saying was good.
Did you hear her after the debate, when she saw her husband on stage, the first question she asked was “Where are my kids?”
