You know, I was shopping at Home Depot the other day, a place where I spend a lot of time (and $), and I got to thinking about what Biden said at the debate last week. Economically, I am much better off than I was eight years ago. However, I credit hard work, planning, and taking some risks with my financial growth. I thank the current administration for the tax breaks that I received and that's about it. I feel that the gov't has been too spend happy over domestic programs, especially in a time of war, and I wish that they would have reeled it in a long time ago. I think that the administration has made a lot of mistakes, but I'm still better off because of what I have done, not because of what the gov't has done.
As for the foreign policy, I haven't seen a successful terrorist attack on this soil since 9/11. I feel relatively safe because I have chosen to live away from major metro areas, I don't use public transportation, and I am a legal citizen of this great country. I do wish that this administration would do something about these extremely pourous borders and work MUCH harder to expel illegals who are caught commiting a crime.
While I was there, I didn't bother to ask anyone else if they were better off, but I am. However, no one asked me either. FWIW...

The business is booming. It didn’t exist 8 years ago. I am glad for my friends sake that too many people are confused about wants and needs.
The government has given in to people’s wants with entitlement programs and of course confused the want of an “American Dream” of homeownership with a need.
