From CBS News' Dean Reynolds:
(NASHVILLE, TENN.) - After most of the previous 12 months covering Barack Obama's campaign for the presidency, it was interesting, instructive and, well, relaxing to follow John McCain for the last few days. The differences between the two are striking.

Hmmmm. “In politics, everything that goes around comes around.”
Thanks for posting. As the writer points out, the little details are quite revealing.

As the campaign goes, so will the presidency.

Whiskey bottles, and brand new cars

There's too much coke and too much smoke

Ooooh that smell
Can't you smell that smell

Something is definitely up.
There have been rumblings for several days that the media were about to turn against the Anointed One. It might just be that they have to find something novel to stay ahead of the ratings curve (and biting Obambi is definitely novel for them) or it might be that they smell real blood in the water, eg ACORN or Rezko.

The McCain campaign plane is better than Obama's, which is cramped, uncomfortable and smells terrible most of the time. That fish stench you smell on board is smelled by me too, and I'm a thousand miles away...

Hard to believe CBS actually admits the Obama plane smells.
How racist of CBS. Shades of the sad, old "those people smell funny" insult.
To: dormee
If true, and I’m sure it is, then imagine how an Obama Administration would look and act (and smell).

CBS REPORTER SHOCK: OBAMA AIRPLANE SMELLS BAD; CAMPAIGN TREATS PRESS POORLY.. Well duh. Of course the plane stinks, it's full of Commie shi...poop. As for the campaign treating the press poorly, Adolf Obama the Fuhrer will treat his sycophants with the same contempt he treats the rest of the country.

In politics, everything that goes around comes around.
With all due respect to a brave CBS reporter, "coming around" will not be what he meant. After media smeared and suppressed any opposition to the "the glorious leader" and helped the totalitarian regime come to power, the payback will be is not what they expect. A very few will become annoyed ones; the rest of them will remember smelly plane and insulting treatment as good old days and the previous administration as paradise lost.
Their role will be reduced to a sitting at the proverbial kitchen table and ranting impotently while hoping that nobody overhear them and report to the authorities.
As for us, they will not get even a "I told you so". If history is any guidance, those who carried water and facilitated totatlitarinists coming to power do not become even infamous; their names are just wiped out off people's memory. At best they are treated as faceless mob of, in generous Lenin's words, useful idiots.

This is to be expected. There is a difference between the ways conservatives and liberals think and behave.
The Obama behavior is similar to how the Clintons ran things.
I had been involved in a legislature for many years. There was a decided difference between the way the Republicans ran things when they were in control and when the Democrats were in control.
The Democrats had no regard for other people's time. They started events when they were darned good and ready. We never knew when it would be. We waited and waited.
When Republicans were in control, events were started promptly on time stated. Things were much more orderly.
