A post Obama-win surviver's guide

If the One is fraudulently thrust into the White House, and mass civil unrest ensues, I think we need a plan if we are to survive.
What should we be prepared for?
What should we be willing to do to ensure our survival?
Do we need a call tree to aid each other? Establish safe houses?
This stuff might read like a fanstasy novel, but it's a real possibility.

If any of that disputed crap occurs from the Dems, I hope McCain and Palin make damn sure they rip some heads off and take this as far to break the scums backs.

I’m with you.
We may have to seek refuge in a freedom loving state.
Alaska would be a good bet. We can join Todd’s secession movement.
We would need to establish a military, because America will come after us for the oil money.
If you choose to remain in the lower 48, do as WestCoastGal says and stock up on arms. NOW!
Hopefully there will still be an America in four years, and Palin can defeat Obama.

Talk Radio is seriously the only “media” I’ll pay attention to. Unless they try to pass the Fairness Doctrine. Hopefully though there will literally be mass protests if they start down that path.

We have considered that move regardless. I am just hoping if me and my family do that Sarah is not there but in D.C.

Insurgent. LOL
We may have to either fight to take America back, or secede. If secession is the option, it has to be a state like Alaska or Texas...one with either abundant natural resources or an already strong economy. Plus, these states already have secession movements in place.
Trying to pry California away would take too long.

I’m thinking the Dakotas. Beautiful country, better weather, and good grazing lands.

Home prices and jobs?
There’ll be no private ownership of homes. You will be metted out a living quarters.
There’ll be no career of choice. You will be given a job based on your least ability.

My swamp is pretty isolated, but I like it. If you can handle the snakes, the solitary brown bear, the occasional flooding it’s as far from the madding crowd as possible.
I intend to just lay low, do my own happy thing, and wait out the four years as Comrade Zero dismantles what we have left of individual rights and the ability to practice our beliefs.
Of course, the country may just have enough of dems in two years.

There are some excellent resources detailing the French resistence during WWII.
www.amazon.co.uk/French-Resistance-Fighter-Frances-Warrior/dp/1846030765 - 202k -
and the film, “Joan of Paris”
www.amazon.com/review/product/6301696662 -
are both useful.
The development of a sophisticated Resistance movement based on infiltrating and undermining the development of a communist regime will be critical. O’s leadership will not be seasoned warriors. They will be intellectuals, sophists, naive idealists, and frustrated second rate activists.
Infiltration will be critical in the first 6 months, after that doors will be closed to new recruits.
It is most important to understand that an O presidency engages our nation's enemies in an onslaught of institutional destruction not seen since the civil war. In that vein, look for state legislatures and governors to openly discuss secession or other forms of divorce from the fed gov.
There will be much to do to save this nation from the Holocaust of a Marxist takeover.

I heard an interesting comment from Dennis Miller about the Fairness Doctrine. He said if they passed the Fairness Doctrine, he’s just say no thanks, and refuse to air his show because he wasn’t going to have a bunch of “goofballs” (his term) on his show...so he’d rather just give up his radio show.

What should we be prepared for? Civil War
What should we be willing to do to ensure our survival?
You should ready to do almost anything and everything except utter capitulation to survive.
Do we need a call tree to aid each other? Establish safe houses?
It's a little late for that. Setting up anything like safe houses on a public internet forum is an invitation to sting operations, SWAT raids and disaster.

“Have you checked home prices and jobs?”
Just started about a week ago. The job of course is the main issue. My wife will soon have her paramedic license which will get her work anywhere. For me though it is a bit more tedious as I own and operate a landscape business. Not too many opportunities for landscaping in AK. HA!
