Distressed but Not Defeated (Vanity)
El Pais ^ | 2008-10-15 | Elian Gonzalez

Never have I *ever* seen a concentrated effort on the world's media to push a candidate in an election.

Never have I seen a propaganda mill outside of Nazi Germany work overtime to encourage voters to pick a candidate they want.

The title of the El Pais article that drove me to post? "McCain Loses His Last Chance."

While I am not going to give up, as the bib-dribblers and spoon-clangers of the left and their lickspittle media acolytes would want, this is just becoming unbearable. I no longer look at news sites; I avoid watching evening news broadcasts. I just feel depressed.

I thought the 2000 election was the nadir of ugly voting; apparently it was just a warmup.
