Couple of people I worked with including my manager were liberal democrats. The other was the program manager. They were of the opinion that you better know your place. My manager actually checked out my financial background through public records. He found out I paid off my house and it pissed him off. He told me that at my age that I should have some serious debt racked up. He held it against me when it came to pay increases. He mentioned that peple need to know their place. Very condescending....

What Joe-the-Plumber should have said:

“So, let me see if I got this straight - as long as I don’t get uppity, and try and rise above my station, you won’t raise my taxes?

You’ll even let me keep more of my money if I stay in my place, right?”
