I’m not so sure it’s paranoia...entirely. There very well may come a day that we’ll be thankful we stocked some well appointed items. Don’t know about the whiskey but I’ve got a nice start on food items in my pantry. ;o)

I've been prepping since Gulf War I based on the simple fact that The Masses are Asses and will panic at the slightest provocation - real or imagined. Started out slow, gained momentum during Y2K, and went hog wild after 9-11.
If you haven't started, you are WAY behind.
A disaster, man-made or natural, doesn't have to flatten your house to make your life miserable. Try going to the store for a loaf of bread the night before a few snow flakes hit DC.
