I bet there aren’t any stray cats in her neighborhood either.

I had a niece and nephew that were given baby ducks for Easter.
She was about 3 and he was about 4.
They were at our house when they received the ducks.

she was playing in the yard by a bowl filled with water.

We noticed she had the poor baby duck by the neck.
She was saying “swim, swim duck and fly, fly duck”.
Needless to say the poor duck was dead.
She then claimed the dead duck was her brothers duck
and she claimed the live duck was hers.

Aren’t ducks migratory? Wouldn’t they come and go with the seasons anyway? I know that’s the case in my pond. Maybe they have different kind of ducks on the left coast...

Why a duck? She took it from near a Levy.

I had to click this because I thought it might have involved my first ex wife who is from Sacramento.
I know I left the damn cheating tramp in a bad state. Just had to make sure.

No. It’s not her.

I like feeding ducks and watching them, but I have no desire to take them anywhere.

ITA. I can't even imagine why anyone would want to.

I just assume all wildlife is infested with fleas and/or rabies until proven innocent.

Ducks seem to be disappearing at the Land Park Pond in Sacramento.

Obviously this was not Ms. Chan’s first visit.

...she claimed the live duck was hers.

Probably too young to have read I Kings 3 (the story of the two harlots who both claim the live baby is her baby).

Lunch I’m sure, lucky for the duck, the woman was caught in the act.
As to the duck wanting to go home with her....roflol...either she grabbed that duck and ran with it or she and her children were coaxing it with breadcrumbs to follow them to the car, ducks are rather limited in the gray mattter KWIM?

And further more...something tells me this was NOT Ms Chan’s first visit to this park.

'I'm taking the duck home as a PET, now that we ate, I mean LOST, LOST, our pet CAT,' said Ms. C.

She had no explanation for the soy sauce, rice, and wok that were also found in the trunk.
