Richard Dreyfuss bites the "W." hand that feeds him

Dreyfuss slammed the film on The View,
calling it "six-eighths of a great film"
and said that he did it only for the money.
"Imagine working for Sean Hannity
you can be a fascist, even when youre on the left,"
he told the ladies of the View.
The film isnt exactly breaking any box office records,
and may not recoup the $30M it needs to break even.
Perhaps this comes down to paycheck issues.

Mebbe all the years blockbusters will share with O Stone so they spread the revenue around? Not a chance in greedy hollywood LOL

Just another Hollywood donation to the socialist cause. The pre-election rash of propaganda movies is now the norm.

I don’t really get all that. I can imagine what it would be like to work for Sean Hannity. I don’t think he’s a cutting edge thinker, but he seems like a nice enough guy. What does that have to do with being a fascist? Is there some basic leftist code that I’m supposed to automatically understand at play here?

I've heard several times that he owns 5 lots just down the street and plans to eventually build there; I sincerely hope not. We've already got Barbara Boxer living over in Rancho Mirage - enough is enough.

The blurb left out the part where Dick called Stone a fascist. I still don’t get the Hannity part???

Maybe it’s just me but as I read his quoted comments he is slamming Oliver Stone AND the movie. Stone is the fascist.

Yea, but six-eights sounds more “educated” than three quarters.

Is there some basic leftist code that Im supposed to automatically understand at play here?
I misplaced my Moonbat to English dictionary, but I think his statement translates to:
"Oliver Stone, despite being a leftist making a left-wing movie, was so overbearing and controlling, that the experience of working for him was extremely unpleasant. Despite my agreement with Stone's politics, the job was similar to what I imagine it must be like working for Sean Hannity, who is a fascist - as are all right-wingers. Nevertheless, it was a job. It paid well, and the movie is about 75% great."
Dreyfuss uses "six-eighths" because, as a liberal, he is used to looking at everything in terms of pie that is to be distributed according to the wishes of government. It is natural to cut a pie into eight pieces, and if we are to measure success in terms of pie, we would say that 6 of the pieces represent that portion of the pie which were successful. To say the film was "three fourths" successful would miss the greater point that dividing a pie into fourths would create pieces that are too large to distribute fairly.

Shaddup, Richard, and get in that time machine that will blast you back when you were a simi-decent actor. You could double for Bill Ayers in a movie. Srsly.

Very helpful thank you.
It's shame there isn't way to convert rational conservative thinking back into moonbat as well, but if I'm not mistaken, it's a one way translation only.

Fascist. He keeps using this word. i do not think it means what he thinks it means. At least he spared us the use of the leftish gibberish word "cryptofascist."
It has no real meaning, just sounds extra scary and important when spilling from the drooling mouths of leftist celebrity cryptointellectuals.
