My daughter is 6 months too young to vote in this election (and not happy at all about it). However, she was very, very involved in campaigning for McCain/Palin. Her best friend, our pastor’s daughter, voted in her first Presidential election and she voted - McCain/Palin!

Four years ago the GOP in Michigan was down a vote in my family.
My father in law had just been killed in a car accident.
This year, we made up for it. There are at least five grandkids who this year got to vote. And they all voted Republican.
Some of us need a break - I’m actually looking for “Vanity” posts today. It’s not that I’m not freaking out over this election ‘cuz I am. However, I know that God is in 100% control and we all are just along for the ride.
I normally vote absentee. But I wanted to take my daughter and show her how it’s done.
If she is your first, it will be a great experience for both of you.
I only wish my daughter had someone in the GOP for her to vote FOR, instead of having to vote against the other guy.
But I’m spoiled. The first person I voted for was Reagan.

AND NEXT TIME AROUND GET TO THE POLLS DURING THE PRIMIARIES WHERE YOUR VOTE HAS 10 OR 100 TIMES MORE IMPACT (very small % of registered voters vote in primaries) THIS IS WHERE WE GET RID OF RINO’S
I have 2 daughters that voted for the first time today.
21 and 24 yrs.
I took my 21 year old and she voted straight Republican.

I was showing my daughter the ballot.
She said, “You mean if I simply mark ‘Republican’ I get to skip to page two? That’s easy!”
This headline and thread are really annoying.
Look, I’m not one of the FReepers who goes around objecting to vanities - I mostly just ignore them.
But by not identifying this thread as a very silly vanity you tricked me into wasting my time clicking on it — and THAT annoys me.
If you want to write a vanity, I really don’t care, but identify it in the headline so that those who are not interested don’t waste their time.....
Up 100% in this household! I *knew* there was an upside to having these Irish Twins. My REPUBLICAN voting daughter was 18 last Wednesday. Her REPUBLICAN voting brother will be 19 on Saturday.
3 for the first time all of my college students voted.
Get a grip slick. This is an important day.
Today’s not the day to play cute stuff like that. Please ask the moderator to insert VANITY into your title as you should have to begin with.
