What is wrong, is the people. We've either run out of good people or there was a huge reverse Bradley effect.

Fox reported Catholics in PA went 52% to 48% for McCain.

Obama is the enemy of issues Catholicism represents.

Same thing happened every single time I expressed the slightest bit of concern about the polls. I was attacked for simply trying to look objectivily at the facts. It was amazing how you’d see more people on here who could see a poll where we were down six and some how spin it with funny math to mean that McCain was winning than who would say “what a second, this isn’t good.” After a while I got sick of being attacked every time I suggested we weren’t going to get 300+ evs. I think some people were living in a fantasy land echo chamber where they purposivly blocked out any contradictory evidence.

The last Pew poll was a perfect example. It had Obama +6. And yet many on here saw it as McCain+1 because the poll had him +1 on those who did not early vote. Or that one day where Zogby had him poll up by 1. Never mind the 150 other full poll results from the previous week showing MCCain down at least four. Those clearly were all crap. Clearly the one true number was the one one day sample in a multiday tracking poll that we could find that went our favor.

“In my book you can’t accomplish a thing if you lie to yourself or think in delusional manner. It might trip ones endorphins enough to make them feel good, but it doesn’t accomplish anything”

There was a lot of see no evil and hear no evil on here. If I so much as suggested that things were not looking good when every poll had us down several points I was jumped all over. What some people don’t get is that jumping up and down with your eyes closed and your fingers in your ears saying McCain is going to win in a landslide doesn’t make you a better conservative than the person who saw Obama had a great shot.

This state is absolutely hopeless. In ‘04, it was merely depressing.

John Murtha calls his constituents racist rednecks and he gets re-elected by a huge margin? Barack Hussein sweeps the state? I’ve been living here in PA my whole life and this is the last straw. If I can ever ever save up enough to afford it - and I have a funny feeling I won’t in this new liberal economy - I’m moving to a state with its head screwed on straight.

I feel your pain. I was really counting on the people of Pennsylvania to pull through. Many good folks in Pennsylvania did vote for the right party, but far too many have been influenced into believing that the federal government is their one-size-fits-all problem solver.

Even in Texas the Republicans out numbered the Democrats this election by a smaller margin. It's just a matter of time before the Lone Star State becomes a lost cause.

PA is not even important. McCain lost by 80 EVs. States that were close, in the order of (potentially fraudalent) votes required are as follows:
NC: 15 EVs - ~20K
IN: 11 EVs - ~30K
NM: 5 EVs - ~120K
NE: 5 EVs - ~120K
IO: 7 EVs - ~140K
CO: 9 EVs - ~150K
VA: 13 EVs - ~160K
FL: 27 EVs - ~200K
The above totals 92 EVs which would have reversed the election.

Additionally, there are:
OH: 20 EVs - ~210K
PA: 21 EVs - ~630K

One also has to remember in a lot of these states the absentee votes and/or provisional votes have not yet been tallied.
