A good thought. I have a handicapped child and we have resisted applying for SSI for him on that basis, thinking we really didn't need to do that, we could manage. Now, hell, if it doesn't matter all that much anyway, I'll grab what I can get along with all of the Obomaniacs. Use some political ju jitsu, use their own crap against them. When they lay me off, it's food stamps and unemployment time.

Ugh. I don’t think I can stomach that concept. We are slated to start “drawing” Social Security in a couple of months jointly and have paid in probably at least half a million in taxes over our lifetimes; but I don’t even want to do that and my husband was going to wait until he is 70 to retire, and still plans to work in conjunction to SS. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. . . .
