I thought I'd post something interesting that happened today as I was on the train. I ended up sitting two seats in front of Brian Kilmeade from Fox & Friends who was on his way home. Out of respect, I won't mention what station I was at or any further details. At first I thought it was simply someone who resembled him, but I realized it was really him. I wanted to let him be and not disturb him, but when I got off the train I couldn't help it so I went up to him and introduced myself and shook his hand. I told him I didn't want to disturb him on the way home but was a fan of the show/network and just wanted to say hi. He turned out to be so nice and personable and we had a nice, but short, conversation on the way off the platform. What a really nice guy!
Cool.
Let us know when you meet Megyn Kelly. With pictures, preferrably. ;-)
I’m glad you posted this. He has always seemed to me to be the kind of guy you’d like to have a beer with. Nice to know that my impression was correct.
He is a great guy, Have had the pleasure of meeting him cpl of times and very down to earth
He cracks me up....and he definitely improves the scenery on FNC.
My family & I stopped by FNC building on 6th ave years ago & were peering thru the smoked glass for a good minute or two and once our eyes adjusted we could see David Asman smiling & waving back at us. No big deal but kind of a nice gesture.
Pater, very well put. I had that impression of him myself while watching the show! The “beer test” is proven right once again!
Kilmeade is going wobbly on Sarah at least that is my impression from listening this morning. He has the right, but I have the power to turn him and the phony judge off.
I dropped a plate of food in front of Jack Palance in an airport once. He gave me one of his creepy smiles.
I met her..... At least she passed me on the street. I was within 3 feet of her as she was hurrying to the correspondents dinner and passed the FReep in progress. Alas, the photo has been lost but she floated by in a gossamer coral backless dress.
Re Brian.... He nailed bill clinton to the wall. He was interviewing folks on the street post 911 and clinton nosed up to the camera.
Brian said hi then asked “ Don’t you feel responsible for this tragedy” Clinton was nearly speechless at the audacity.
Cool! I’ve been on “Fox and Friends” three times and have yet to meet him. Once Tiki Barber was filling in; the second time I did a stand up with Doocy away from Gretchen and Kilmeade, and the third time was a remote from my home.
I met Desmond Tutu in the Airport in Panama he was on his way to accept the Nobel Peace Prize... he is mean... and the background Music was of Course....about a Tutu I forget who sang it. it was comical.....
I guess he wasn't hungry.
I was in the seat just behind Dr. Satcher (Joycelyn Elders’ replacement in the Clinton administration) on a flight once. I don’t know why he was flying coach but he didn’t seem to be enjoying it, and I didn’t venture to say anything to him.
I’ve worked with Brian on a few projects and he is a really solid, genuine guy. He’s a class act.
