Yes, you can...

But for a change, the American stuff is cheaper... at least according to the places I have looked at in the last hour or so.

I bought some 24k Maple Leaf $50 coins today. They were the only bullion coins available except for some Golden Eagles. The dealer explained that there's been a big demand for bullion lately.
