Look, we can deal with reality or we can just make up facts.

From exit polling alone, we saw Palin had higher net negatives. I personally do not think of her as a negative and in fact am quite enamored of her reagan-like qualities.

But the general public’s opinion of her is lower than ours and we need to learn how to deal with that.

Republicans need to be able to stand up to scrutiny apparently because our media is so corrupt and biased.

No real argument with these two comments, other than to point out it was NOT Sarah's fault. Look at what the press did, dug up, and the mudslinging on the net...nearly all of proved FALSE! WE failed the VP candidate.

Now knowing how they will react to a strong conservative woman we can plan a proper response. Sarah was a sacrificial lamb. Even now as the mudslinging continues about Sarah, from within our own party, we'd rather hang shame around her neck than around those responsible. As the accusations continue to fly...how many will be proven FALSE yet again?

Now I will say something many here don't want to here. I voted for McCain because of Sarah, otherwise I would have written in John Galt and voted the rest of my ballot. I will never again pull a lever for weakness.

It is that voting behavior that has gotten our country into this mess. If it is a RINO it will not be voted FOR. We have faithfully 'held our nose' and voted for these candidates that do not reflect our values. I am tired of holding my nose and it is irresponsible. As citizens we have a responsiblity to vote for candidates that reflect our values and those in the Constitution. If they are not on the ballot...how should we vote or do we have a responsiblity to not vote our Constitution away by "holding our nose." I have not left the Republican Party, the Party left me.
