If Everything holds as it does now (but probably won't), the BCS games would be any combination of the following: Alabama, Texas Tech, Texas, Florida, and Oklahoma fighting it out for the national title with USC playing the one with the most losses as the 5th vs. 6th ranked team in the Sugar Bowl. Penn State would probably end up playing Oregon or Penn State in the Rose Bowl as the co-Champions of their respective conferences.
IMHO Utah would probably play against Boise State if both win out.
I don't think the BCS could do that with the fact that there are automatic tie-ins to every single BCS game sans the title game. The only way that might happen would be if both teams were to lose at least once before the season ends.
No way. Their projection is all wet. If USC and Oregon win out, Oregon goes to the Rose Bowl as co-champion of the Pac 10 because USC went last year. Where are they getting Pitt from? Pitt is ranked 21st now.
Actually, it's Oregon State, not Oregon. The Beavers wouold go to the Rose Bowl if they win out.
If Oregon State wins out, they are the outright Pac 10 champs.
USC would probably get an at-large bid due to the rankings.
The Big East gets a BCS bid. Pitt is in a 3-way tie in the standings right now and controls their own destiny.
