Is it on cable or you watching a DVD? Is it on later? I’ve never seen it from beginning to end.

I almost had Gallipoli on my list, but it’s not an American movie. Still great though.

Best Years of Our LivesI'm 50 years old and I saw this for the first time just a few months ago. I loved it. I couldn't believe I had waited that long to see it. Good Veteran's Day movie.

Saving Private Ryan. Last movie I watched with my father on Memorial Day 2005 before he passed away a few months later.

“12:00 High” - I still remember watching it piece by piece in Squadron Officer School as a leadership tool. All the way through is better :).

Band of Brothers..yes!
I met Pvt.Joe Lesniewski at a gun show and got his autograph, and bought a Band of Brothers photo album with a lot of autographs in it. Treasured item.
Very very nice man, it was an honor talking to him.

My taste in movies is maybe a bit strange, but here are the ones I can com eup with off of the top of my head. I'll try not to repeat what's already here. They are all very good as well.
The Green Berets (gotta love the Duke)
Farewell to the King (Nolte’s greatest, IMO)
Bridge Over the River Kwai (the Great David Niven)
The Wild Geese (Richard Burton's last film)
Hamburger Hill (watched it with a guy who was in the battle portrayed. Rough night for him)
Gallipolli (Very young Mel Gibson) That's all that come to mind at the moment.
