The original post stated that he was born in Hawaii in 1961, then went on to talk about Kenya and British Colonies.
My reply was to the argument that he couldn’t be natural born, even though the post just stated that he was born in Hawaii. I didn’t intend it to be a judgement on whether or not he’s lying about his birthdate or birthplace. That’s a completely separate issue.
If you have been following this, It explains the difference between "Date Accepted by Registrar" versus "Date Filed by Registrar", on a Hawaiian Certificate of Live Birth (COLB).
"Date File by Registrar" is what's stated on Obama's COLB.
And 'Date Filed by Registrar' probably means that the birth was not recorded in a Hawaiian hospital or other official channels that document births in Hawaii. It just means means that Hawaii acknowledges the birth of the baby.
They never said it was a U.S. birth certificate. They just said they had it. Then they put it into lock up.
Oboma went through an adoption procedure. His certificate was necessary to prove he was who the parents said he was. Once he was adopted, his original was recorded. He now has a new one.
Aren’t there now records in the UK delivered this week by an Imam proving he was born in Kenya? This Imam’s grandfather blessed him....the original log is now in the hands of the UK and copies are now it the hands of the US. There are also several certified birth certificates for Barry from Kenya in the states. Barry was born in Kenya NOT Hawaii...he is not a natural born citizen. He is a citizen of the US but born in Kenya. It is strange he will not produce his Hawaiian Birth Certificate, however. Why will he not produce it?
Hawaii would file the original papers and they would enter the pertinent data into their database from which they print the copies of 'Birth Certificates' on demand. Printing out the information in their abbreviated database says nothing of the original papers issued possibly in Kenya. Hawaii would say that they have his birth documents on file which is true and it omits that those documents originated in Kenya.
Why is it important? Imagine if 2 or 3 years from now it is discovered that he was not eligible to be POTUS - All signatures on all legislation he signed would be void. Could you imagine trying to roll back several years of legislation?
I guess his statements of being 'citizens of the world' are particularly fitting in his case - US, Brit, Kenyan, Indonesian all rolled in one... Mindboggleing!

The 14th Amendment does not make someone a citizen because they were born on American soil:

This will not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners, aliens, who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers accredited to the Government of the United States, but will include every other class of persons."

If what you state were the case, who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers accredited to the Government of the United States would be the only entry in the sentence, yet the words foreigners and aliens are listed as well.
You are born a citizen because of your parentage. A naturalized citizen has natural-born offspring, the children of foreigners and aliens retain the respective nationalities of their parents.
This 'anchor baby' business is a lie.
That's my point. How would Fact Check know he was actually born in Hawaii if 12 court cases still can't find out the "Facts"?

I thought I heard earlier this week that the state of Hawaii came out and said the COLB was not a fake, and that his birth announcement appeared in three Hawaii papers back in 1961. Anyone else hear that?
You guys! Other countries can confer citizenship on ANYONE they WANT. The USA cannot stop them. If that were enough to disqualify someone from being President, couldn’t Iran have conferred citizenship on George Bush 6 years ago and forced him to step down? Silly.
A newborn cannot “petition” for citizenship. It was conferred on him. This is no big deal.

Let go out of the legal woods. Let think plain and simple.You do not have to be very smart or legally educated to understand this situation.
Let assume for a moment that Obama senior came to the University of Hawaii not from Kenya but from Iran. Then if we svae all other facts of Obama's story the same we would have a village in the middle of Iran populated by our Commander in Chief's grandmother, a few half brothers and countless uncles,aunts,cousins,nepews and other relatives. Moreover if we take off a road accident where his father died then a 70 something Obama senior himself could have a happy retirement in suburbs of Tehran.
It takes even less imagination to picture that in 2-3 years our President will face a tough choice of using military force aginst Iran, because those fanatics will not yield to nobody dveloping nuclear arms.
Questions:
1. Will an option to kill his dear father, his lovely mother and the rest of Obama gang make our President's decisionmaking process more complicated?
2. Will the United States be more vunerable if our Commander in Chief's close relatives will be living as hostages behind enemiy lines?
If you answer "No" on both questions then you are Osama bun Laden or Ahmadinejad.
To avoid such terrible situation, such obvious conflict of interests and such unhuman choices for our President the beloved Framers wisely included "natural born citizen" clause in our Constitution.
It is very simple: in order to not be in this so close to reality situation only a person born in the United States and having both parents who are naturally born citizens of our country themselves could be our President and Commanderr in Chief.
