It is my understanding that Petey, the dog on the Lil Rascals was an American Bulldog, a specific breed, not what is known as a pit bull. Not that it matters, I just thought I would chime in. I have a beautiful AmBull ... she is 12-1/2 years old and the sweetest girl ever.
