“Ahem”
I agree that we need more postings on these types of uplifting stories, especially ones including bikinis. But why no pictures of them during the hot dog eating contest?
Actually the top three are not that good looking. The German girl looks a little better. Not so skinny.
My understanding is that no bikinis were involved in that event and therefore it had no news value.
“Sukhinova”...?
The anomaly you reference may possibly be due to lighting or a lens-correction issue. A reshoot is obviously in order, and it seems clear to me that FReepers need to be in charge of the reshoot so that it's done according to appropriately high technical standards.
I may be off base here, but I am sensing an ulterior motive to this idea.
Her name may possibly have suffered in translation to English or in the transposition of the Cyrillic characters to the Hindu-Arabic.
Given that this particular product of Mother Russia has shown no outward malice to the United States, my own view is to offer a nurturing environment to her, preferably here at the stoat cave where her needs can be assessed and appropriately addressed.
If a sincere dedication to the highest technical standards of artistic representation is going to be termed an ulterior motive then I must confess my guilt. I would hazard a guess, however, that a similar dedication will be commonplace among most all other male FReepers....it's a proud Conservative trait. We leave sloppy jobs to the Left and pursue only the very highest quality in everything we do.
It's a tough job, but we're uniquely qualified for it.
Valuable insights into an important South African cultural event that we would not otherwise have been privy to. Well researched, Stoat. BOOKMARKED!

Who cares the “motive”: this post woke me up better than my coffee.
I’ll to volunteer to help with this project, since I have extensive darkroom experience and am likewise dedicated to high technical standards of artistic representation.
As you say, it’s a tough gig.
part of me is reaching out as we speak.....
Thank you again for your very kind words and I am delighted that so many here are so fascinated by South African cultural traditions...let no one say that FReepers are disinterested in expanding their cultural horizons.
Thank you also for bookmarking, as the reference and research value of these archive-worthy photos is without question.
I have to say it
aren’t most of these women just facial UGLY???

Naturally, I'm delighted that the obvious educational and cultural value of this thread appealed to you so much that it has had a stimulative effect. This speaks volumes to your cultural sensitivity and your intellectual prowess, and you should feel proud in relating the effects of your stimulation to co-workers, family members, clergy and general passersby, all of whom will undoubtedly be impressed and will request exposure to the thread in order to gain a similar level of intellectual enhancement.
That’s what I was thinking but I don’t think they have gotten around to looking at their faces.
But, I think it is important here to get to the real purpose of this thread. GOD creates beauty everywhere and it is always refreshing to see beauty and to relish in its display....
