Oh, what a heartbreaker! Coulda stopped 'em right there if TX had not tried for the pick but instead kept the receiver in bounds. Time would've run out on TT at that point. Bad move on the UT players part, good move on TT receiver keeping the play going.

All in all, a hard fought game by both sides. Kudos to the Raiders for controlling the line of scrimmage. But ... what the heck happened to y'all in Norman?

I don't know what happened. All I know is that it wasn't the same team that had been killing it for several weeks in a row, offensively and defensively.

We could blame it on being the 4th highly ranked team in a row, with the last one coming on the road in a tough place to play, but Texas is already using that excuse. :-)

I think the pressure got to them. Four straight weeks of national exposure which was way more than they've ever gotten before.

Everybody has an off game, but it's not usually against a highly rated opponent in their backyard. I believe that TT is every bit as good as OU and UT, but couldn't prove it on the field against OU. TT should have beaten UT by 20 or more and then Texas could't keep whining about how they got screwed.

Texas didn't get screwed, they got beat. Tech's the one that will get screwed. A top 7 team (arguably better than that), that will be relegated to the Cotton Bowl in a no-win situation against a team barely in the top 20. Win, and it's no big deal, you were supposed to. Lose, and you were overrated all season.
