Thirty explosions? Maybe the repairs weren’t yet complete.
I used to live down 603 between I10 and Hwy90. I remember hearing the rocket engine testing all the time. Worked with a guy that remembers when they tested the Saturn 5 engines there, He said it rattled windows all the way down in the Bay. I worked in a machine shop at Stennis Air Park. Used to watch the pylon races there.
Well, I never heard anything more about what took place last night, so whatever they were doing over there, it apparently wasn’t serious or they didn’t want to share it with the public. There is the possibility that they were clearing out debris along the river and decided to do it at night when no one was around, but that seems kind of strange in itself. They maybe were also blowing up some dangerous materials and want to do it when no one from the general public was visiting the center. It remains a mystery!
