I almost shot my eye out when I read this! 25 years, holy cow I feel old. I wonder if they’ll do the 24 hour marathon on TNT again this year, which by the way doesn’t do it justice, you have to watch the DVD.
The book’s much better than the movie anyway.

It’s really a collection of short stories, but all the episodes in the movie are there in greater detail.

My wife has issues because she hates this movie, but I love it.
The leg lamp is priceless. I have an ornament of that on my otherwise very classy Christmas tree.
I can’t stand the TNT version of ACS. It’s pan and scan, not letterbox, meaning the outer third of each scene is chopped off.
TCM showed it in its full letterbox version, and that a joy to watch!
I especially love the scene where Ralphie beats up the bully...good for him!
