Kate Hudson is still shopping for Christmas presents. But in tough economic times, the actress says she’s feeling the pressure to cut back on spending – just like everyone else.
“I think it’s a really weird time and I think that everyone is feeling it,” the Oscar nominee told reporters Friday at a Los Angeles press conference for her new film, Bride Wars.

The people like this, who can afford it, should spend money as they usually do. When they start pulling in their horns, the caterers, dress shops, limo drivers, restauranteurs, wait staff, security staff, hairdressers, and all the other people who usually make money will be able to hang on a little longer.

Kate Hudson has revealed that she once stalked a man she was desperate to date.
The actress has confessed that she even recruited her friends to help her track the unwitting suitor down.
Hudson says that she was so obsessed with an unnamed bachelor, she tried to manipulate meetings in the hope he would ask her out.
“I did go through this stalker phase. I was completely crazy about this one guy and used to drive by his house and get my friends to call me up if they saw him in a restaurant so I could show up,”

In 2000, Hudson married Chris Robinson, the frontman for The Black Crowes. They married on New Year’s Eve in Arlington, Colorado. Hudson gave birth to their son, Ryder Russell Robinson, on January 7, 2004. The couple lived in a house that was once owned by director James Whale and traveled together during Hudson’s film shoots or Robinson’s music tours. On August 14, 2006, Hudson’s publicist announced that Hudson and Robinson had separated. Rumors swirled that the reason was Hudson’s affair with Owen Wilson on the set of You, Me and Dupree. On November 18, 2006, Robinson filed divorce papers, citing “irreconcilable differences”. The divorce was finalized on October 22, 2007.
After she and Robinson separated, Hudson publicly dated Owen Wilson, her You, Me and Dupree co-star. However, the two broke up in May 2007. In May 2008, she began dating Lance Armstrong - the couple split in July. Kate Hudson also dated in 2007 actor Dax Shepard who was on MTV`s Punk’d fame.
You, Me and Dupree was the only decent movie she was in.
Does this mean Kate Hudson won't be traveling to far off lands to be a used as a pin cushion by international playboys and actors?
