No Google Bar required. Give it a try and see if you like it. You can always uninstall it if you don’t.

Here's a picture of how I have my version (Opera 9.21) setup. Pretty much any newer version can be setup the same. Unless I am misunderstanding you when you ask how to refresh a page, then that symbol is the refresh button.

As far as copy and paste into the browser it works the same way as IE or FF. If you don't see the address bar or search bar you will have to go through options and add it so it is visible on your browser.

Ok well I figured I might as well be pro-active and just explain how to add it.

First go to TOOLS then click on PREFERENCE. Then I select TOOLBARS. From there you get a screen which is how I prefer mine to be set up like. I hate the Start toolbar or the extra navigation toolbar as it seems redundant and I prefer the least amount of space wasted on toolbars but still retain the most functionality.

Then I go to the Buttons tab and add the Page Magnifier to be able to change font sizes on the fly without having to use multiple keystrokes. I also add the Wand tool to pre-fill forms for stuff like name/address etc. I then go to Tools/Preference/Skin and change the icon size to 50 or 60% to further reduce the size of the toolbar area and give me the most desktop space on the browser window.

Also if you copy a website from another window, you can open a new tab and in the address bar you right click and select "paste and go" and it saves you the step of having to paste and then hit the enter key. Again I prefer the simplicity of Opera, the functionality, and the ways it saves me time by some of these shortcuts.

Super-duper, now you appear to know your computers/internet.
I am a self learner, no teacher so it takes me awhile to learn but it usually sinks in after trial and error.

I had tried Chrome and removed it right away.....it just didn’t have the appearance I wanted. I had Mozilla forever and it got to where it would crash and I couldn’t figure out why so had to remove it also.

Thanks so much!
