The whole “cougar” thing is based to some degree in the idea that these women can be sexually attractive to a younger man.

That the 40-50 something husband divorces (usually by force rather than choice) finds himself alone, and decides to get himself the 20-nothing plaything. He has money and experience, which makes the hunting quite a bit different, than being 20-something yourself and seeking a date.

Having been in the aforementioned position I can speak with some authority. I have had little in common with the playthings and the relationships were exactly what you would think.

However, I did remarry to another woman who is 15 years younger than myself(46) and my ex-wife(45). Drives the ex-wife nuts to this day...The best revenge is to live well.

I can understand the older man/ younger woman thing and even excuse it in some instances. ( y'all can help it, you're wired up that way.)But women, biologically and culturally, are the nurturers and protectors of the young. This behavior goes against nature, imo.Now a 40 something broad with a 20 something boytoy I can get, but this (children,for all intents and purposes) is 'nuther thing altogether!
