Considering that AARP is really just an insurance company that disguises itself as an activist organization, buy insurance privately and join individual groups that have programs that interest you (NRA, Good Sam, etc.)
I think you've got that backwards. It's a wealthy socialist activist group that disguises itself as an insurance company. It's one of the most powerful "progressive" lobbying organizations in Washington.
